One day writing workshop or a private one hour consultation on your writing project
Lisa Alpine has been a professional writer for 22 years and is the travel columnist for the Pacific Sun in Marin County. She was also the founding publisher of THE FAX, a Marin County community newspaper. Her articles and short stories appear in numerous periodicals (Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Physicians' Travel and Meeting Guide, Parenting, San Jose Mercury News, to name a few) and anthologies (I Should Have Stayed Home, Hyenas Laughed at Me and Now I Know Why, etc...). When not acting as a book midwife and writing coach, she works as a freelance feature writer and teaches writing at The Writing Salon in San Francisco, Book Passage in Corte Madera and at her home studio. She is also a member of the Wild Writing Women, an acclaimed SF Bay Area writing group, and authors of Wild Writing Women: Stories of World Travel, an anthology of travelogues that won the National Association of Travel Journalists award for Best Travel Book of 2002.
