"Bodega Bay Tidepooling" for 2 with Footloose Forays

Item Number: 0034
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
This tidepooling location in southern Sonoma County has it all. There are mudflats and eelgrass beds; some of the richest habitats in the entire Bay Area and home for fat innkeeper worms; nudibranchs; bat rays; cancer crabs; feather dusters; clams; and hundreds of foraging shorebirds.
Right nearby, the breakwater provides habitat for a completely different ecosystem - the rocky intertidal zone. Thriving here are giant green anemones, urchins, sea stars, sponges and tunicates. Two major ecosystems side by side, full of abundant marine life! Also, this is one of the lowest tides of the year... don't miss it.
