Description

The little town of Cetona is located upon a hill on the slopes of Cetona mountain. The Medieval fortress stands on the top of the hill among cypresses and pines surrounded by the old town.

The house is located in the outskirts of town, a five minute walk from the main square.

It has a beautiful garden and decks with an outstanding view. There are
Two double bedrooms, one bathroom, two livingrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen.

Walking around the narrow streets you can reach the Collegiata church ( XIII C.) or come to the main square, the real center of town, with pleasant coffee shops and trattorias, where you can taste wonderful, simple traditional dishes and wine.

The town is surrounded by olive trees and vines that take you along trails up to the top of the Cetona mountain, among chestnut and oaks.

Cetona is in the province of Siena, easy to reach, in the hearth of Tuscany, one hour from Florence and one hour from Rome. The nearest
Rail-station is in Chiusi (6 km.) along the main Florence --Rome line.
The highway A1 is only ten minutes away.
