Wine Tasting for 4 people with LAURENT DROUHIN of the
Maison Joseph Drouhin
on Friday, October 29th.

Mr. Drouhin is a charming and articulate ambassador for the Drouhin family, and Burgundy Wines.

Laurent will lead you through a tasting of the 2002 vintage. Two new proprietary wines will be introduced this evening, both Bourgognes, that the Drouhin family first produced in 2002. And then we'll take a brief tour through five Cote d'Or appellations, taste the wines, discover their individual terroir personalities, and learn
how they expressed themselves in the much-hyped 2002 vintage.

In addition, we'll taste the following Drouhin 2002s -- Volnay A.C., Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru, Gevrey-Chambertin A.C., Meursault 1er Cru Perrieres and Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru, Folatieres. It's a nice look at the vintage, and a great opportunity to learn more about the complexities and delights of Burgundy.

The tasting begins at 6:30 p.m. and concludes at
8 p.m. It's an informal, stand-up tasting,
with Laurent leading us through the wines and discussion. Reservations have already been made for 4 places at the table for the winner of this certificate. Confirmation is required.
