In 1980, my wife-to-be gave me this small piece of cardboard, all marked up in magic marker for a birthday present. She then ripped it in half. On the cardboard, she had written "One Pilots License". Once ripped in half... she was going to pay for half the cost for me to get a pilots license. Learning to fly, the first solo flight, flying over the San Francisco Bay, flying between St. Thomas and St Croix, flying down the Hudson River in NYC... this is the fabric of my dabbling in flight. It's been a great ride. This item is for one "introduction to flight" flying lesson with a certified flight instructor (not me!) in the North Shore (of Boston) area.
