Marnie Barrett joined Levenger in Delray Beach three years ago as Vice President and CIO. Levenger is a privately held multi-channel retail business that markets luxury products for home and office, per the catalog tag line: "Tools for Serious Readers." Having worked over 25 years in various IT roles, Marnie has focused many years on business transformation through technology, often at a frenetic pace. Her experience and background includes a variety of industries, including retail, direct mail, insurance, biotechnology, restaurants, incentive advertising, credit card processing, commercial real estate, banking, consulting firms and hardware vendors. With a couple of degrees, none of them in technology, Marnie has integrated her early years of programming and project management with her English degree, language skills and mathematical/analytical acumen into progressively expanded positions of leadership and influence over technology decisions. Over the past 13 years she has exposed various organizations to the leverage potential and opportunity available through well-positioned technology solutions and platforms. These leveraging resources include ERP solutions (SAP, PeopleSoft and Ecometry), as well as targeted, yet integrated "point" solutions.

Her current role at Levenger is to orchestrate an evolutionary transformation of a catalog business into a nationally recognized retail and internet merchant.- while under extraordinary budgetary constraints.
