This unique Native American style Medicine Shield is 12" in diameter and 25" long; that means that the objects have been chosen, and placed, on the shield to encourage the owner to look at the potential of different combinations of familiar objects.

This Medicine Shield has been created, by Marcia, as a celebration of diversity of the physical and spiritual worlds. It is centered by a turtle shell and contains objects of all colors and types to demonstrate the uniqueness and originality within this world. Scattered within the shield are crystals, rocks, semi-precious stones, shells, seed pods, bark of 5 different trees, carved fetish style animals (fox, bear, rabbit and bison), feathers of 6 birds, minerals, cloisonné pieces and other 'surprises'. Other owners of Marcia's Medicine Shields find their greatest enjoyment is in discovering the objects 'hidden in plain sight' and speculating on how and why they have been placed in their locations.
