Description

Lovely monotype of a rose-breasted grosbeak is done by artist and CCAE faculty member Sholeh Regna. The 10 1/2" x 16" print is on a 16" x 20" sheet of handmade paper mounted on foam core. The entire piece is shrink wrapped for protection.

What is a Monotype? A monotype is created by transferring a freshly painted image onto paper. A monotype can only be a single-edition original. The reason for this is that the paper absorbs virtually all of the pigments on the plate... A monotype is thus as unique and original as any painting.

This is a Live Event Item.
