Smokey Bones BBQ is a casual dining restaurant that combines great-tasting, authentic American barbecue with a rustic, mountain lodge decor.

The story of Smokey Bones goes back to 1968 when a rugged young iron worker named "Duke" hand-built a new kind of BBQ smoker from an old section of the Rocky Mountain pipeline.

For some reason that old smoker produced some of the best-tasting, most succulent, deep-smoked BBQ that anyone had ever eaten. Or, it could have been that everyone always had such a good time at "Duke's" barbecues that the food just seemed to taste so good. Either way, the legend was born.

Duke's way of making everyone a friend, his appreciation for the High country and his abiding love for sports of any kind have all come together in this place called Smokey Bones. Welcome... you'll never be a stranger here!
