The PFT/300 features KZG's "Progressive Face Technology". The face is ultra-thin in the center (2.3mm), and thinner yet at the perimeter (1.8mm). Greater tensile strength and elasticity is achieved by heat treating and forging the face insert. The ball literally explodes off the face.
