Come celebrate breakfast at the Captain Fairfield Inn by indulging in a four course, cooked to order breakfast, served in our dining room between the hours of 8:30 and 9:30.

Breakfast begins with our special blend of Downeast Coffee, specialty organic teas, and our signature fresh orange juice blend. This will soon be followed with a seasonal fruit course, typically fresh berries, melon and kiwi or a cranberry apple poached pear. Next, fresh from the oven, come blueberry muffins, orange cranberry scones, butterscotch coffee cake or maybe 72 layer cream cheese biscuits. Finally you will be offered a choice of two prepared to order entrées.

On any given morning you could expect:
* Fresh salsa and Vermont cheddar omelet with a dollop of sour cream
* Wild Maine Blueberry Crepes, served with heavy vanilla whipping cream
* Eggs Benedict with our homemade Hollandaise sauce and steamed asparagus
* Cinnamon Buttermilk Pancakes stuffed with sautéed Macintosh apples and served with apple-maple breakfast sausage
* Omelet Fairfield (our secret!)

Special Instructions

Advance reservations must be made for this breakfast and dates subject to innkeeper discretion. Breakfast is for two people, mid-week, from November 1 through mid-May.
