Description

You are bidding on an Official Major League Baseball autographed by Adrian Beltre #29, infielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers. The baseball is signed in blue ink on the "sweet spot". ~~~~
Adrian got off to a rough start in 2003, but turned it on after the All-Star break to record a career high in home runs (23) while tying his personal best in doubles (30). He enjoyed his best month of the season in September, when he batted .305 with a .543 slugging percentage. Once again in 2003, Adrian performed better away from pitcher-friendly Chavez Ravine. Last year he batted 56 points higher on the road than he did at home. For his career, Adrian is batting .285 with a .471 slugging mark in road games, marks 49 and 90 points higher, respectively, than his home totals. Defensively, Adrian has a very strong arm and he excels at charging the ball and throwing on the run. At the age of 24, Adrian already has six seasons in the majors under his belt. The Dominican native was signed by the Dodgers in 1994. A two-time All-Star in the minors, Adrian was the Single-A Florida State League MVP in 1997. He made his major league debut in 1998. Adrian survived two abdominal surgeries in 2001, including an emergency appendectomy.
