Description
Stepping through the door of the Moby Dick Hotel is like stepping back in time to a simpler, gentler era.
Located in Washington State on Willapa Bay near the mouth of the Columbia River, the Moby Dick Hotel is a unique small inn built in 1930 and restored in the spirit of the 1930's with an eclectic, bohemian charm.
Enjoy the hotel's nationally acclaimed 4-star restaurant, which celebrates local and seasonal food and frequently features fresh home-grown oysters from the inn's oyster beds!
As you venture outdoors, you'll find a number of paths that ramble through the woods, out to the Bay, and through the inn's organic vegetable, herb and flower gardens. Quiet seating areas are nestled throughout the spacious property. Relax and unwind in the inn's Japanese sauna, situated in a wooded area overlooking the bay and the organic gardens.
The Moby Dick Hotel is convenient to Leadbetter Park and its wild dunes and beaches and to the historic Lewis & Clark Trail featuring museums, parks, and forts. In these beautiful natural surroundings, you can also enjoy birding, kiting, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, cycling... as well as mushroom hunting and whale watching!
