Description

In 1951, the then Brooklyn Dodgers played a three game playoff with the New York Giants to determine which team would play the mighty New York Yankees in the World Series. The Dodgers' Ralph Branca pitched to the Giants' Bobby Thomson in the bottom of the ninth of the third game and Bobby clubbed it for a game winning home run. In this 16x20 photograph the Dodgers and their star Jackie Robinson watch in despair as Bobby Thomson and the Giants celebrate. Along with a 16x20 black and white photograph of this moment are autographed Major League Baseballs Hand-Signed on the sweet spot in blue ballpoint pen by Ralph Branca and Bobby Thomson. Above each ball is a plaque with the quote from each player after the event along with a plaque between the baseballs with information about the event. This item comes with hologram certification from Triple Crown Sports Memorabilia, Inc. and a certificate of authenticity with a picture of Ralph and Bobby signing the baseballs. Limited Edition of 51.

This is a Live Event Item.
