Description
Tour the studio of local artist Lila Wahrhaftig and get a paper-making lesson and tea with the artist. Learn about the art of making paper from paper mulch and have the chance to make an embossed print. This is for up to four people and will take 2-3 hours. Children over the age of 7 are welcome. Lila's studio is located in a scenic part of the Oakland Hills.
Special Instructions
Lila designs interesting framed paper quilts. The Oakland resident uses handmade paper and etches themes such as mothers and grandmothers, names of God and Hebrew letters. She also makes paper amulets for good luck and protection.
