The New-York Historical Society makes history come alive! Since its founding in 1804, the New-York Historical Society has been dedicated to the preservation of collections which illuminate the American Experience. These collections include artifactual and fine arts items, furniture, domestic and trade artifacts. Many collection items have been exhibited around the world as well as at The Historical Society.
