You're bidding on a lathe "round" by C.R. Light from 1999. The Round--called "The Black Hole"--is made from Mahogany and Purple Heart wood. It is 7.5 by 7.5 inches. When the mahogany object is seen from the side a smaller vase shaped can be seen on the inside.
