Kristi Cooper White has 14 years experience teaching the Pilates method and has been dedicated to the Body Arts and Science approach since 1997. Kristi has worked closely with Master teacher Rael Isacowitz both in his studio as a teacher, and as one of two principle instructors of the Body Arts and Science International teacher training certification (BASI). Her passion for teaching has allowed her to teach in South Africa, China, Chicago, and on both coasts of the US. Kristi has a full time practice here in Santa Barbara where she splits her time working at The Beach Club Athletics and working privately in the homes of her clients. Kristi is proud to have a client list that includes Oprah Winfrey, Dennis Miller, and Rob Lowe. Over the years, Kristi has enjoyed working with other high profile individuals like Hillary Swank, Carol Burnett and Kenny Loggins. In February 2005, Kristi hit a high point in her career when she was featured on the Oprah Winfrey show that highlighted just some of the many benefits on Pilates. She may also be seen in the Rael Pilates video series available for home use.
