MYTOWNS's Youth Guides bring the history of the South End neighborhood to life by surveying the contributions that ethnic, immigrant and working class communities have contributed to its development. Using current landmarks and local knowledge to explain the past, MYTOWN guides help tour takers interpret the events that have led to what's now. Highlights include the history of the Pullman Porters, Tent City, Jazz history and Dr. Martin Luther King's house. MYTOWN offers Boston's only youth-led historical walking tours.
