Private Chef Tasting Dinner for six (6) prepared by Chef Richard Hamilton at the Spiced Pear Restaurant located at The Chanler at Cliff Walk in picturesque Newport, RI.

Chef Hamilton began cooking at age 6 in his family's Oklahoma restaurant. He went to train in Paris where he graduated from the venerate Ritz-Escoffier Ecole du Gastronomie and Le Cordon Bleu culinary academy.

At age 36, Chef Hamilton has developed an unusually diverse repertoire working with island spices. Southern-flavors and now New England seafood to create his own unique culinary style.



Most recently Chef Hamilton served as Chef du Cuisine at the MGM Mirage Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas. He was also Chef du Cuisine of Magnolia's in Nashville where he earned the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator Magazine in 1999 and a four diamond rating from AAA.
