Description

Spend an afternoon on the Peninsula at the incredibly lush gardens at Filoli. A property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Filoli is a wondrous 654-acre estate 30-miles south of San Francisco in Woodside, CA.

Magnificent gardens are seemingly untouched by time. A grand Georgian mansion sits amongst these gardens where hundreds of rare flowers, plants and trees flourish.
Filoli was built for Mr. and Mrs. Bourn, prominent San Franciscans whose chief source of wealth was the Empire Mine, a hard-rock gold mine in Grass Valley, California. Mr. Bourn was also owner and president of the Spring Valley Water Company comprising Crystal Springs Lake and surrounding lands, which are now part of the San Francisco Water Department.
Wander through the estate on brick gardens that welcome visitors from around the world.

Your Friends of Filoli Gift Certificate is good for two (2) House & Garden Tours OR two (2) Nature Hikes.

We've also included a Gift Certificate for lunch at the Taqueria La Cumbre in San Mateo for before or after your visit to Filoli. The certificate entitles the holder to two deluxe burritos, two fountain soft drinks of your choice, and an order of chips & salsa for your table.

Spend a lazy afternoon enjoying great food and the wonders of nature.
