Description
"Red Violin" is an exquisite oil on canvas painting, approximately 24" by 42" inches long. This is an original painting created in 2005 by Russian Artist Natalia Popova.
Natalia has spent a lot of time studying light, color, and the connection between the human psyche and the feelings expressed primarily through music. She yearns to understanding the connection between woman and animals, children - and their expressions of unconditional love and inner beauty.
Natalia was born in Karmensk, Russia in the early sixties, and was educated at the Music Art College in Moscow.
Natalia's works are currently on display at the Edward Fine Art Gallery in San Francisco and at the Hovik Fine Art Gallery in Los Angeles.
Her work can also be found in the private collections of Rosalyn C. Swig, Greg & Ludmilla Finklestein, Antonio Vitanza, and the University of California Hastings College of Law.
Natalia, now living in San Francisco, created this "Red Violin" piece to represent life, death and transformation. She hopes the painting inspires its new owner, giving hope where pain, sorrow or suffering may now dwell.
