The Windjammer Restaurant opened in 1977 in South Burlington Vermont as a steak and seafood restaurant. Owner Walt Levering took the Windjammer to a level of quality, service and expectations that quickly made the Windjammer a local favorite. His daughter, Laura Levering OConnell and her husband, Tom OConnell, both New England Culinary graduates, have been running the Windjammer since 1996. Tom and Laura have managed to keep the simplicity that our regulars expect while at the same time, adding accents for a new generation of diners.

We are open for lunch Monday through Saturday 11:30am until 2:30pm. Dinner is served Monday through Saturday 5pm until 10pm, Sunday 5pm until 9pm. Reservations are not required but suggested for parties over 6.
