This stoneware basket/flower vase is handmade by the artist. It was fired in a gas kiln to a high temperature of 2300˚ Fahrenheit in a reduction atmosphere.

The vase can be used as a decorative piece, or for flower arrangement.


The piece is 10 " tall and the handle is 4 ¼" wide.

It can be put in the dishwasher and will hold water.

Hannes Overgard has been a potter for 25 years. She makes her own glazes and fires the pieces in a gas kiln at her studio in Connecticut.


She has taken courses and workshops with renowned master potters, and has exhibited her work primarily on the East Coast. Her work is in collections around the world.
