From the Label:

gnarly red originated in the early 90's when I began blending robust, full bodied red grapes in an effort to make a great BBQ wine. Rich fruit, a bit spicy with soft tannins, this wine goes well with everything from salmon to ribs. Each year the blend changes depending on the quality of grapes and the whims of the winemaker.

This limited release is a blend of 2003 Zinfandel and Syrah from the Dry Creek Valley and is dedicated to my Dad, who loved a glass or two of a good red wine with his BBQ.
