Pamela Marshall Holmes began her professional career at The Cleveland Clinic Health System (formerly Meridia Health System) as the Director of Social Services at Euclid Hospital in 1980. She subsequently served as the Director of Employee Relations, Vice President of Human Resources and Relationship Services at Euclid Hospital and the Corporate Director of Human Resources for the System=s Corporate Offices.

In 1994, Ms. Holmes accepted the position as Vice President of Community Service and Development, a position created to improve the organization=s community involvement. Ms. Holmes assumed responsibility for positioning the System as community leader by providing essential health care services to greater Clevelanders.

Under her leadership, multiple targeted community health initiatives have been created to provide educational outreach and wellness support and activities for the community. As part of the cancer education initiative, Ms. Holmes facilitated a partnership between the Eastern Region hospitals, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the American Cancer Society to host legendary entertainer, humanitarian, and prostate cancer survivor, Harry Belafonte to speak to the community on the importance of prostate cancer screening.

Ms. Holmes holds a Master's Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Social Work and is an active member of the Cleveland Chapter of Jack & Jill, Cleveland Chapter of Links, Inc., and the Cleveland Chapter of The Northeasterners. She currently serves on the board of Kid=s Health 20/20, the Center for Families and Children, and is an immediate past board member of The Club, Key Towers. She was the 2001 General Chairwoman for the Black Professionals Association Gala, honoring Dr. Marvin A. McMickle and the 2002 Honorary Chairwoman for the Gala Event honoring Dr. Barbara Byrd Bennett.


Her other honors include being named one of the A2002 Top Ladies of Distinction@ by the March of Dimes and the Greater Cleveland Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. She was appointed Cuyahoga County Grand Jury Foreman in 2002. Pamela was honored in 2001 by the Ohio's Career Education Association in Columbus, Ohio as an AOutstanding Community Leader@ for her commitment to the career development of area high school students. She was also featured in the 2000 issue of Kaleidoscope Magazine, ASaluting Women Who Give Back. She is a member of the 2005 Leadership Cleveland Class.

Ms. Holmes resides in Beachwood, Ohio where she was honored by the Mayor with Pamela Holmes Day in 2000. Her husband Stefan is Vice President Public Funds for First Merit Bank; her daughter Heather is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, and her son Chase is a junior at Beachwood High School. Pam's hobbies include power walking and attending sports events with her children.
