Myron F. Robinson is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Urban League of Greater Cleveland. His 36 years of experience with the Urban League movement began soon after earning a sociology degree from Youngstown University. His first job was Deputy Director of Youth Incentives with the Youngstown Urban League. Two years later he was selected to attend the National Urban League's Executive Development program at Harvard University, preparing him to become the youngest president in the country when he took the helm of the Madison, Wisconsin Urban League for six years. Myron has also served as President of Urban Leagues in New Haven, CT and Greenville, SC, where he served for nine years before returning to northeast Ohio in 1991.

Myron Robinson has revolutionized the Urban League of Greater Cleveland's community programming and opened the door for broad-based, multicultural, community partnerships. In November, 2002, he cultivated the first multicultural business ownership summit, convening a diverse assembly of ethnic groups, including Asian, Eastern Indian, Native American, Hispanic and Arab Americans to share best business practices for entrepreneurs. Under Myron's strategic guidance and perseverance, the Urban League of Greater Cleveland has purchased and renovated a new headquarters at 2930 Prospect Avenue, exemplifying the League's own mission of economic self-sufficiency and becoming the only African-American service-based organization to own real estate in Cleveland.

Highly active and visible in Greater Cleveland, Myron is presently on the boards of State of Ohio Governor's Workforce Policy Board, John Carroll University, KeyBank Advisory Board, University Hospital Health System, Greater Cleveland Workforce Investment Board and Fannie Mae Northeast Ohio Advisory Council. He is also immediate Past President of the National Urban League Association of Executives.

In addition to his undergraduate work and his Harvard program, he has done graduate work at both the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Wisconsin. Myron and his wife, Brenda, are the parents of two and the proud grandparents of four. They reside in Cleveland.
