Description

This handled serving bowl by Rock Garden Pottery's Roger M. Galuska is done in Shady Glen Green glaze using a design adapted from the potter's Polish-American heritage. The bowl measures 11 inches from rim to rim and is approximately 6 inches high. It is microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe.

Roger etches his designs in free-hand. They are adapted from Polish wood-carvings done in a town called Zakopane in the Tatra Mountains of southern Poland. Zakopane is near the town where Roger's own family is from, hence the connection between him and his pottery.

Roger's berry bowls have been featured in Country Living Gardener Magazine. Other awards include third place in the White Mountain Arts Festival in Jackson, N.H., a one-man showing in the Mansfield Music and Art Society gallery in MA and one of his pots was accepted into the National Bonsai and Penjing Museum in the National Aboretum in Washington, D.C.

This is a Live Event Item.
