Description

About the Artist
Laurel Ann Butler has been an active creator of art since childhood. Her work, which she really calls "play or playful art", is her passion. A native Vermonter, who has lived and traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean -- she likes to bring to life some of her traveling reflections in her work -- "It's a way to create, express and record my feelings -- making art is about capturing present moments and staying in the present -- it keeps me focused, balanced and more in harmony with life." Although art is at her center, most of her career has been in hospitality management and teaching/training. Presently, she is teaching business, entrepreneurship and career awareness studies, having fun with her own art exploration, plus guiding and facilitating enrichment retreats and training programs through her consulting business "Adventures In Harmony".
