The Jewish Publication Society, through the generosity of donors, has provided thousands of copies of the JPS pocket edition of the Torah: Five Books of Moses to chaplains for distribution to Jewish U.S. military personnel serving overseas or being deployed there. JWB Jewish Chaplaincy Council has been a primary distributor of these donated books as part of its ongoing efforts to support Jewish men and women serving in the U.S. military overseas.
