Description
Spend a day immersed in art and architecture at the stunning new Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) and receive a spectacular Abelardo Morell camera obscura photograph to hang in your own home!
You and a guest will begin your incredible day with Abelardo Morell, whose black and white camera obscura photographs have been exhibited by major museums around the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Art Institute of Chicago. Observe (and, perhaps, assist) Morell in a gallery of the new ICA as he creates one of his first color camera obscura photographs.
Then tour the new ICA building with its Director, Jill Medvedow, during the time it takes to render the exposure after setting up the Morell photograph. You will be among the first to view the ICA's exciting inaugural exhibitions and its wonderful new space, designed by internationally acclaimed architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro.
Afterwards, enjoy a casual lunch and great conversation at a local restaurant with Morell and Medvedow while you wait for the photo exposure to finish. The winning bidder will receive memories to last a lifetime and a 20" x 24" color print of the Morell photograph from a limited edition!
