Description

Most Menlo folks know Jack Bowen as the Boys' Varsity Water Polo Coach, Aquatics Director, and Philosophy teacher. Now, you can get to know him as the new author of the philosophy/fiction, The Dream Weaver: One Boy's Journey Through the Landscape of Reality. Elizabeth Still is hosting up to 50 people for lunch at her house in Atherton on Sunday, May 7, 2006, to come hear Jack talk about his latest accomplishment. He was a two-time All-American water polo player at Stanford, an alternate goalie on the 1996 Olympic team, member of the 2000 Olympic Training Team, and Assistant Coach of the Men's National Water Polo Team in 2002. Jack has recorded albums as a drummer, and also teaches Philosophy at De Anza College, yet somehow he found time to write this likeable book that questions the meaning of life and morals.
