Description

Upcountry, Kula, Park-Like Setting
Location: Kula, Maui, Hawaii, USA (Beautiful UpCountry Roads through Cane Fields and Ranchland)
Accommodations: House - 2 Bedrooms - 1 Bath - (Sleeps 4-6)

You will feel very much at home in our new house if you enjoy light, pleasant colors, large comfortable wicker chairs, dining for six, queen-size and two twin beds, and lunch on our lanai. Our smoke-free house is fully and beautifully furnished with even a queen-size sleeper sofa. There are library/entertainment/music room, dining room and living room ready to enjoy. Try the rattan sofa and chairs on the lanai at sunset.

Unlike coastal towns, Kula has warm days and cool nights. Air conditioning is not needed.

More flowers are being added to our park-like setting regularly. Planted and growing are various citrus trees, jacaranda, and koa.

Our air is oxygenated naturally. Winter daylight is one and one-half hours longer than Boston. Being semi-tropical, Mauians need not struggle with bitter winter temperatures. Kula is protected by Haleakala from heavy winds and humidity. Major storms are infrequent and perfect days follow one after another. Even yellow onions grow sweet in Kula.

Maui winters are much warmer than the mainland and summers are cooler. Temperature varies only about seven degrees between winter and summer and Hawaiians live an average of seven years longer than folks from other states.
