This was a photograph taken of a baby gorilla in the Parc National Des Volcans, Rwanda, Africa this past March 2005. This baby was part of a group of gorillas called the "Susa" group. After hiking back to the mountain gorillas in the Volcanoes of Rwanda we would have approximately 1 hour to photograph the gorillas. In many cases the gorillas were feet away from our group. This baby is on his mother's back while the group continually searched for food and a place to take a mid-day nap.
