This lamp's tiles are actually made of wood. Jill painted several dragonflies on four 3" by 6" of pieces of wood. After painting it, she cut them into smaller puzzle-like pieces and proteched each piece with marine resin. The wood pieces were placed on the lamp and then grouted to resemble mosaic tiles. The hand made shade is made of hand painted cotton using textile and metallic paint. The shade glows warmth when turned on.
