Three large and exquisitely painted irises adorn the base of this summer-themed lamp by Rebecca Pearl. Each flower is a different variety, nuanced in color and depth. The warm green background on the base and shade will remind you of sunny days in the garden.
Rebecca Pearl learned art from her parents, the Schuler School of Fine Art and the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. Pearl began her career as a portrait painter at the age of 25 and gradually accepted commissions for animal and architectural subjects, florals and figures. Her preferred media are watercolor and pastel. She has her own gallery in Emmitsburg and lives in Rocky Ridge.
