Framed 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' print by Diane Ulmer Pedersen, 11" x 14"

Item Number: 125
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
In 1830, Sarah Hale of Boston wrote the most popular four-line verse in the English language. Though the real 'Mary' has never conclusively been identified, most folk historians believe she was Mary Sawyer, of Sterling, MA, where today a bronze statue of the lamb stands on the Town Common. Celebrated folk artist and Greenways volunteer Diane Ulmer Pedersen, of Sterling, has created a lovely rendition of these local legendary figures.
