This auction is for a set of 4 Victorian-era ornate doorknobs and faceplates. The knobs and plates feature an intricate stamping on their faces with leaves and shell-like shapes. This design is identical to G-118 Loraine, manufactured by Corbin in 1905. The knobs and plates are made of stamped steel, though they look like they were painted with a bronze- colored paint at one time. The knobs and plates are in good shape with no major dents. They could use a good cleaning, but could otherwise be used in their current state. The knobs measure approximately 2 ¼" across, and the plates measure approximately 8" X 2 ¼".
