This auction is for a 1920s stone fireplace mantel. This stone mantel measures approx.
65 ½" wide X 53" tall X 8" deep. The central portion of the mantel consists of two carved panels featuring shields and oak leaves. The arched interior opening measures approx. 40" wide X 33" tall (to the top of the arch). The mantle is composed of three pieces of stone, all of which are in excellent condition with no major chips or missing pieces. Unfortunately, the stone has been painted several times,and some of the paint is flaking off.
