This auction is for a solid brass Federal-style doorknob with a sunburst pattern on the face. The knob is probably from the mid-1930s The knob measures approximately 2 ½" X 1 ½". The knob is in good shape with no major dents or scratches. It could use a good cleaning, as there is some polish and paint residue left in some of the crevices, but it is quite presentable in its current state. Matching escutcheon is included.
