This auction is for an apartment interior door from the Plaza Hotel designed by Joseph Finger. This single panel door is original to the hotel and dates from the 1920s and has a unique inset profile. The door is made of solid wood. The door is in fair shape with some minor wear. Door has been painted numerous times, and may need to be stripped. Door measures approximately 28" wide X 82" high and opens to the left. Hardware is not included (as there was NO HARDWARE LEFT in the building when Historic Houston reclaimed the door!!)
