The house measures approx. 17' x 34' and has a new roof, new electrical, new plumbing, insulation, sheetrock and new bathrooms and kitchen. The house needs to have the tile in the bathroom grouted, and the floors in the house re-sanded and the front and back porches rebuilt once it is relocated. The house does not come with kitchen appliances or central air or air conditioning units. The new owner is responsible for all utility hook ups, gas, electric and plumbing, as well as all permits required for connection and final inspections once the house is delivered. House has been appraised at its current location and condition at $56,500.00. (Appraisal available for viewing). TOP BID PRICE IS FOR HOUSE ONLY AND DOES NOT INCLUDE MOVING COSTS. Final sale of house is contingent upon bidder providing Historic Houston with all documentation necessary for obtaining needed moving permits as well as a signed contract for sale of the house between Historic Houston and current property owner and a signed contract executed within 24 hours of final bid. Relocation and delivery of the house must occur on or before September 1, 2005. Needed documentation to include, but is not limited to, a current survey of the property where house is to go, proof of title and ownership of property and proof that all utility access to property is available. Final acceptance of bid is contingent upon Housemoving company's assessment that house can be delivered to the property.
