This auction is for a hand-painted Russian Lacquer Box. Lacquer boxes are an old Russian craft. Each one is hand-made out of paper mache, then hand-painted. Each box can take several months to make. This box features a hand-painted scene of three girls dancing. The box is in excellent shape and measures approximately 5.5" X 4.25" X 1.75". Box comes in its original packaging and dates from the early 1980s.
