A postpartum doula provides suuport to families after the birth of a new baby. She is there to free up the family from their duties and stresses so they can bond with their new baby. A postpartum doula provides; emotional support during the transition to motherhood, breastfeeding assistance and support, basic baby care instruction,including bathing and diapering. She will also do light housekeeping, meal preparation and run errands.
