Sally Moore received a BFA in painting and an MFA in sculpture from the Massachusetts College of Art, and a BA in Theater Arts from Vassar College. She says to experience her work, "one must become a gymnast." She describes her pieces as having a "balancing act going on between what is seen as conscious and unconscious forces." She has exhibited her work at the Barbara Krakow Gallery in Boston, the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA, and the Artist's Foundation in Boston. She was a finalist for the Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist Grant and won an A.R.T. grant from the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.
