Description

Paola Ranieri uses soft, colorful brush strokes to shape a contemporary approach to figures and objects, using an infinite color pallet. She seeks to capture images that call our attention to how precious and complex life can be, and draws upon her life growing up in Italy and West Africa as inspiration. She trained in the Studio Art program at Framingham State College and the Danforth Museum of Art, and remains close to Boston at the Fountain Street Studio in Framingham, MA. She exhibits her work at bi-annual open studios and at local libraries and bookstores. Her artistic endeavors are wide spread and range from painting portraits, landscapes, and murals to candid photography portraits of people and landscapes. More recently she is developing custom home furnishings through the elegant use of fabrics.
