Description

Judith Morton is a sculptor creating both indoor and outdoor sculpture, Judaica, steel furniture, and life-size mixed metal circus figures. She has studied at the DeCordova Museum School, the Portland School of Art, the Museum of Modern Art School, and Columbia University. Her work has been exhibited in galleries at the Dana Hall School, Babson College, Bridgewater State College, and Brandeis University. She has also exhibited at the New Bedford Art Museum, the Attleboro Art Museum, the Starr Gallery in Newton, and the National Arts Club in New York. Her work is in the collections of Brandeis University's Womens Studies Research Center, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Nokia Corporation, Prudential Life Insurance Company, and many private collections. Morton served as president of the New England Sculptors Association from 1994-1997.
