Livingston Taylor was born in Boston, raised in North Carolina, but returned to Boston to pursue his career in music as a composer and artist. Taylor has toured the country extensively, working an average of 125 dates per year. He has received the Boston Music Award for "Best Folk and Acoustic Artist" and has been recognized for his contribution to American culture at the Celebration of North Carolina Artists. A full professor at Berklee School of Music, he teaches a course on stage performance techniques. The author of several children's books, he is also an avid pilot. Taylor is committed to helping many charitable organizations, including the homeless and domestic violence survivors. His newest CD, There You Are Again, should be available this fall.
