Mags Harries is a creator of public art. She creates pieces for parks, zoos, museums, streets, plazas, transportation buildings, transportation routes, and along waterfronts. Harries teaches sculpture at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and at the Harries/Heder Collaborative, her project with environmental artist Lajos Heder. Her public art has been installed all across the country, and she has two installations abroad, one in Italy and one in England. Locally her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts, the Rose Art Museum, and the DeCordova Museum, all of which have her work in their collections.
