Mary Oestereicher Hamill is both a visual artist and a developmental psychologist. Her installation, sculpture, and video have been shown at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University, and the Carpenter Center at Harvard University. In addition to her public art at the Massachusetts State House, other exhibitions include North American Sculpture Exhibition, Emory University, Radcliffe Institute, Massachusetts College of Art, and Longy School of Music. Hamill is currently a scholar in the scholars program at the Brandeis Women's Studies Research Center at Brandeis.
